Peach Custard Pie
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Take 6 to 8 peaches, depending on size, and peel, pit and slice in half. Place peaches cut side up in an unbaked pie shell. Set pie on the lowest shelf of the oven and immediately turn temperature to 400 degrees. Bake 25 minutes. Then pour over them the custard mixture: 2 eggs beaten with 1 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of soft butter and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes
