April showers bring May flowers

Happy May Day! Growing up in the Philippines today is Labor day, which commemorates the fight for the 8 hour day. And you guessed it right it is a Public Holiday. My co-workers in my previous job told me that it is called Lei day in Hawaii. And my other co-worker told me when they were growing up they would bring flowers in a basket and these baskets are small and usually filled with flowers or treats and left at someone's doorstep. They would "ring and run" or "ding and dash". When you ring or ding the bell, you are supposed to dash or run away. The boys really, really love this part. Last year we did this to our neighbor and this year we did this to our friends, my Visiting Teacher and the boys' primary teachers.

We dropped off these flower pots with
some treats and dinged and dashed away.

Jacob said if they caught us he will
do a Dragon Pose.
Hilarious!!!

Hey Joanne, your blog is so cute. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. My mom might start selling those aprons sometime soon. I will keep you posted!

Who doesn't love the good old ding and dash? I know I still do! Good idea to do it with flowers.
