# 25 Spa

My friend invited me to this Spa
last yr and
I thought
I would share this and invite you.

PCSD
or
Post Christmas Stress Disorder
Spa for Moms and Dads
is always a MUST after Christmas.

Deep tissue massages - to relieve the pain of carrying heavy shopping bags and boxes, walking from one store to another and the bags added up and taking it in the car back inside the house and also to alleviate pain from hacking toys out of packages with a craw bar.

Hand and Foot Fantasy - an Ultimate Spa Pedicure and Spa Manicure -you'll be pampered and cared for. You'll relax in a big, comfortable reclining chair. Your hands (or feet) will be cleansed and your cuticles cured. A great treatment especially after tearing and ripping toys out of packages. And after driving to and from home and stores, stranded in traffic and standing inline for hours.

Cleaning Lady Service - While you are away and enjoying this spa experience, we will take care of cleaning the house inside and out.
The moment you wake up with your bed unmade, pick up your clothes wherever you take them off. You will not need to lift a finger.

Quiet Room - provides a relaxing environment with over stuffed recliners, dim light, herb tea both before and after treatments. It is equipped with noise eliminating features, sound-proof walls, and super dark shades to encourage a nice sleeping environment to be treated like queen or king for a day.

Meals made to order - After serving guests with meals, doing dishes and cleaning up, all meals will be served in bed.

When your treatment is complete, you'll leave with that floating feeling that comes from having beautiful spa treatment and being totally relaxed.

There's only one word to describe the feeling:Re-born

So call now and make your reservations at
1 - got - sleep

or
1 - got - sanity

Phone calls and Text Message
(check)

My family called from the Philippines
early this morning
5am (PST)
to greet us a Merry Christmas
We called them back again before Christmas Eve dinner
we also called Paul's fam from UT and ID.
We texted and emailed friends as well.

Treasure Hunt
(check)
We do a fun Treasure Hunt
after Christmas Eve Dinner
and
before opening presents.
from
one another.
The boys opened a present and it was
empty!
and inside the box it had a poem
where we said our prayers
sang songs
and we read Book about Christmas
and the Treasure hunt started.
It took them to the kitchen,
the bedroom,
the living room

and it ended
in the room
where
the Nativity was by candlelight.

Then
Paul read a poem from his niece- Whitney
BTW, Whitney
Paul waited to read it tonight.
Thank you so much!
It was very special.

Here is the poem
Thanks Whitney.

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below,
With tiny lights and Heavens stars reflecting in the snow.
The sight is so spectacular; please wipe away the tears,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description to hear the Angeles sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not that far away, we really aren’t apart.
So be happy for me my dear ones, you know I hold you dear,
And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift from my heavenly home above,
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all ‘LOVE’ is the gift, more precious than pure gold,
It was always mos important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
For I can’t count the blessings nor the love he has for you.
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear,
Remember that I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

It was so beautiful.

After the poem, we opened presents
baked cookies for Santa
put carrots for the reindeers
the only thing we did not do tonight is
to go running around the block (we had planned earlier to
tire the boys out by running laps around the block).
But, it is raining so we did situps and pushups instead.

Good Night and Merry Christmas.

Shop til you drop

On Comet...On Cupid On Donner...On Vixen... On Sale!!!

Can you believe you can ask discounts at the store?

NEW YORK (AP) -- If you're looking for an extra bargain before the holidays, you may only have to ask. With holiday sales shaping up to be the lowest in years, possibly the worst since the industry began annual comparisons in 1969, retailers say they're taking consumers' demands for good deals seriously. Some are extending return policies, while others are matching competitors' prices. Many are volunteering on-the-spot discounts and even letting customers haggle prices well down from what's marked in a desperate bid to make the cash register ring. Read more here.

So, shop til you drop.

# 21 and # 22

# 21 VAIO

This new Vaio is about 9.5in wide and 4.5in deep, making it smaller than the average notebook, and apparently a clamshell design if what look like hinges in the photo are really hinges. It runs Windows and the FCC filings refer to Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, EVDO and HSPA. This notebook will be out on Jan 9th. Read here for more

# 22 Gift Cards

Any GC is very much appreciated.
beware of stores that are closing.

Last minute Shopping and Movie

Saturday

Last minute Shopping
The malls, the parking lot
the TRAFFIC
It was INSANE!
Today is the last weekend before the holiday,
and
hopefully you aren't feeling the pressures of purchasing looming over your head.
It's always...always in December.
So many fun things to do in just a matter of 3 weeks.
So many deadlines to keep track of.
However, even though I've made my list
and checked it multiple times
There is always the procrastinator in me.
And thanks to my DH (Dear Husband)
to always STICK TO MY BUDGET!

BOLT

After all the Hustle and the Bustle
I took the Boys for some Mommy and boys time
sans Paul.
After all, I needed to spend time with the boys to shop
for their Daddy and also
Buy gifts for each other. AND
gave PAUL his OWN time
to watch the BYU Basketball and Football game
This is the first yr.
we did not go to a Bowl Game. Totally different post
but in passing we were so bummed not to be in LV right now.
ANYWHO, it was also nice to just be here and
wrap up presents for Christmas.
We totally enjoyed BOLT!
not Usain
The Movie Bolt!

I loved it! I totally enjoyed it.
Was a little tear jerker. 3-D Movie
Also it was Funny!
very funny.
Bolt, Mittens and Rhino
the Hamster.
Loved it!!!!
What I relaly love and enjoy about Disney Movies are
the Short Films before the Movie.
And they showed Tokyo Mater.
It is Pixar's first 3D short video.
So FUNNY!!!

Arcitic Chill? Santa Ana Winds?

One of the first things I do before bedtime and when I wake up is check the Weather. Since growing up in the Philippines we have a very predictable weather. I check it so I can be prepared to wear layers when I go running, bring a light jacket, a sweater or the boys can wear shorts or just because-I-am-addicted-to-checking-the-weather! And this is what I saw this morning.

Yes, I cannot complain how cold it is in CA to my friends in Illinois or relatives in UT and ID. I really can't. Look at those numbers!

18 MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone

I love to communicate
thru email, at work, at home
cellphone, textmessaging,
it does not matter
since cellphone handheld use is illegal
in CA
and I do not like using a blue tooth
MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone
  1. Safety,
  2. convenience and
  3. compliance with new hands-free traffic laws in many states,
Three reasons this is a favorite gift choice for a driver this year.

Barbie's Pumps designed by Louboutin

image: Barbie in Badley Mischka

For Barbie's BIG 5-0 next year. She will be receiving an awesome present which is every girl's dream. Christian Louboutin will be designing her pumps which will debut at the runway show that Mattel, Inc is staging during the 2009 Fall New York fashion week in February.

Fifty as-yet-undisclosed designers will produce Barbie-inspired outfits for the runway, and each of the 50 models will be wearing the pink Louboutins at the show.
Image: Christian Louboutin Time Mag.
“I guess I always had a little ‘girlie side’ who liked Barbie,” Louboutin said. “Barbie needs to wear great shoes because every girl needs to wear great shoes.”

Since I have 2 boys, will I buy a Barbie Doll for me =)

# 17 Isle Gota Beach

It has been a crazy weather this week. The "arctic chill" weather is hitting every corner in the country. I talked to Tara yesterday and she told me that she had to buy jackets for the girls because it is snowing in LV. So, with the very unpredictable weather, I wish I was in the Tropical country right now. My brother and SIL are enjoying their Vacay in Maui. For my # 17 fave . I would love to be in Isle Gota. My friend Hedda was just here 2 months ago when she went home to visit her family in the Philippines. IT IS GORGEOUS!!! she said. Well, just lookin at the pictures who would not love to go there RIGHT NOW! This is also where they filmed French Survivor, Kohlanta in spring this year.

It is called Isle Gota or Gota Beach in Caramoan Peninsula.
Next time I go on vacation back home I will totally visit Isle Gota, since Isle Esme is going to be pack and busier with tourists.

# 15 Make Up

Dolce and Gabbana will launch their make up line in January 2009. The designers even sought help creating their products from Pat McGrath - who is the most influential make up artist in the Vogue industry, she also oversees the models' faces backstage at Dolce and Gabbana fashion shows.

Ouch

No, this is not a Louboutin Boot or Sergio Rossi not even a Tory Burch. Anyway, I called in sick today and went to see an M.D for the injury that occurred in Saturday's race. X-ray (to rule out any fractures) revealed anterior talo-fibular ligament tear OR Grade 1 Ankle Sprain. She gave me a walking Boot or short walker. She was almost going to give me Crutches. And I told her I am fine. I think my co-workers and patients will have a lot of sympathy for me with the boot already. Especially the boys. She said to leave the boot on for at least 4 weeks.

Then I asked her, when can I start running again?

Work Christmas Party # 2

That is Christmas Party # 2 for me. This time it is my current work Christmas Party. On friday, Annmarie and Greg opened their beautiful home to have the Rehab. dept party. We had Tons.. I mean TONS of yummy food. I was surprised I did not even take pictures. We ate and enjoyed each other's company, with a big Santa statue dancing while we were eating and the White elephant gift exchange. They said this year was Aditi's night. Every present she got was stolen from her. She even got the "saxophone clock" which was the "white elephant for 4 years!!! Anyways, she ended up with a bath set-bath pillow, soap, turban. Here is the picture after the white elephant. I got the Sauna Belt. Can't wait to use it.

We missed a lot of our friends in the dept. who could not make it on friday night. Maybe if we have a happy hour next month or so. Here's the rest of the pictures.
